The last culture to emigrate to Greenland was the Thule culture, from which today’s Inuit Greenland population are descended. (Read more about the Uummannaq mummies here)

It is not known whether peoples from the Dorset and Thule cultures ever actually met, although there is evidence that the Thule were in contact with the Vikings.
